This blog is looking to be mostly about internet television, which I'm fine with. I am a large advocate for it and believe/absolutely know it is the future/now of television. The writer's strike really changed things, with no new material being made for broadcast, people were turning to internet entertainment. Also, for a person like me (most likely statistically, most people my age) do not own cable. Since I do enjoy television (its where god lives, you know?), I have found alternative means to catch the shows I want to watch.
These being: Dexter, 30 Rock, [adultswim], scrubs, tim & eric, and others.
When trying to catch up on Heroes without downloading torrents (my anticipation for the next episode became too difficult to wait), I found 56.com. 56.com is like the Chinese youTube, but way better. You can watch full episodes without them being broken up into multiple installments. ie - 45 minute feeds. Also, you can find more shows. American anti-piracy laws don't much apply there.
After 56.com, I was told about surfthechannel.com (thanks Dano!). This place rocks. A huge collection of tv series (many of them in near completion), anime, documentaries, and some movies. This is streaming too and many times has the quality of youTube, but its great nonetheless. I can get my scrubs fix here. My good friend when I stay up late by myself.

Go Fish or Die Trying
This is the second installment of "La Casa De Los Moustachio". It took us a while to complete this, about three weeks. The whole thing was filmed at our house and we had help from a lot of our friends. You will see them in the film. Also, Dusty McCord was a huge help for us and did most of the camera work in the beginning. We're pretty happy with this one.
Like last "La Casa De Los Moustachio", the very talented Stan Bush has contributed another one of his wonderful songs.
Sit back and enjoi.
Oh yeah, that is actually my landlord too.
Thank you: Dusty, Hank, Rob, Todd, Joey, Rob, Mark, Sam, and Stan Bush.

Atomic Butter Babes Designs
Atomic Butter Babes, as well as The Taxpayers, will be putting together some merch to sell along the tour. Today I came up with a few designs for Atomic Butter Babes, one is a t-shirt and the other is a pin. I will be making up Taxpayers designs over the weekend.

They Live/Cripple Fight
I saw this tonight on youTube. Its pretty good. I've never seen "They Live" before, I was unaware how similar the homage to "the fight" in the movie was in the South Park episode. Here is a link of a video comparing the two:

puppets for jesus
Chris and I the other day ago watched a serial-documentary about puppeteers puppeting to spread the word of God. Its pretty amazing, we couldn't stop watching it. We tried. Consecutive installment after another, we watched all 7 in one sitting (its under 45 minutes). You will probably too. Its called:
"The Hands of God"

The Taxpayers and the sort
So, lets talk about Taxpayers. We're a three piece DIY folk-punk band: Rob, Nate, and myself. I like The Taxpayers, a lot. Probably because I'm in the band, but I think it has potential and we write honest, genuine, and good music. We've (the 3 of us) been together for about a year now, Rob started the project in Cleveland already and released an album solo-ish on Big Record Label. Its pretty good too, some of the songs from it are goin to be rehashed on The Taxpayers next album. Which will be recorded sometime soon after we return from tour. Oh yeah, The Taxpayers are goin on tour with The Atomic Butter Babes and Hugh Downer (both projects I am involved with) too. Its goin to happen in April and will be about 2 1/2 weeks long. Got the new van and everything for it too!! w00t!!
Since I will be updating this blog regularly, I will be posting things such as tour dates, new song updates, merch design, and other rando taxpayer related photos. This time, I will only be leaving you with a link where you can download The Taxpayers album, "Exhilarating News", for free. Also, the Atomic Butter Babes valentines EP, "Songs to Walk the Plank To".
I hope you enjoy both, I do.
