This blog is looking to be mostly about internet television, which I'm fine with. I am a large advocate for it and believe/absolutely know it is the future/now of television. The writer's strike really changed things, with no new material being made for broadcast, people were turning to internet entertainment. Also, for a person like me (most likely statistically, most people my age) do not own cable. Since I do enjoy television (its where god lives, you know?), I have found alternative means to catch the shows I want to watch.
These being: Dexter, 30 Rock, [adultswim], scrubs, tim & eric, and others.
When trying to catch up on Heroes without downloading torrents (my anticipation for the next episode became too difficult to wait), I found 56.com. 56.com is like the Chinese youTube, but way better. You can watch full episodes without them being broken up into multiple installments. ie - 45 minute feeds. Also, you can find more shows. American anti-piracy laws don't much apply there.
After 56.com, I was told about surfthechannel.com (thanks Dano!). This place rocks. A huge collection of tv series (many of them in near completion), anime, documentaries, and some movies. This is streaming too and many times has the quality of youTube, but its great nonetheless. I can get my scrubs fix here. My good friend when I stay up late by myself.
